Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
You guys seem to really like my Revolution x (insert youtuber name here) reviews. Back at it again but this time, the Imogenation hightlight to the moon palette. If you’re a fan of Imogen then you’ll know see loves a good highlight so I was excited to see what her face palette was all about. When I first heard the name, I thought the entire palette was going to be highlighters. Was pleasently suprised when I saw some contour shades in there too. It’s nice to have a mixture of shades in a palette and there seems to be a shade for most skin tones which I like. We all about the inclusion over here! Let’s not babble on too much, I’ll get on with it now.
Primark Disney princess lashes
Hey loveliesss, I hope you’re all warm and well!
While browsing my local primark, I couldn’t help but spot these Primark Disney princess lashes and whack them straight in my basket! As a huge Disney fan, I couldn’t resist. Not sure about anyone else but I don’t feel any makeup look is properly complete without some lashes. Although the Disney branding is really cute, are they any good?

Hello Loveliesss, I hope you’re all warm and well.
I haven’t done a currently loving post in a while so I thought I’d collect up some bits and pieces and share them with you. I always love reading what other people have been enjoying too. Gives a little insight into their interests I guess. When I sat down to write a list of things I’m currently loving it was quite hard because I’ve been testing a lot out. Let’s get started then shall we.
Friction Free Shaving Review
- Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Let’s not lie, shaving is such a ball ache, isn’t it? I find the whole process really dull and boring, not to mention time consuming. After you’ve spent a good half hour de-fuzzing yourself, you’re silky smooth, but only for a day or two. Then we’re at it again. As a woman who has excessive hair growth, I feel the need to shave frequently, but I always end up with a rash. After looking into ways of preventing razor burn (what causes the rash) I stumbled across friction free shaving.
Taking a break from blogging
Hey loveliess, I hope you’re well!
If you’re a regular reader, you’d have noticed I’ve been a bit MIA lately. I decided to take a break from blogging. It was unplanned, just kind of happened. In the last two weeks, I’ve reflected upon my journey so far and wondered why I stopped opening the laptop and writing.
I started blogging back in September ’16, as a way to keep busy while Shane and I saved hard for our house. I never anticipated I’d fall in love with it like I did, and I was hooked from day one. I constantly looked for ways to improve my writing and create new refreshing content. It took up almost all of my spare time and I found myself getting a tad overwhelmed with it all. I put to much pressure on myself to compete with everyone else and make a name for myself. I guess over the last few months the pressure built and it became to much to maintain. I found myself creating content that wasn’t 100%, content I didn’t believe in and I was publishing posts, just for the sake of getting something up.
Obviously, blogging isn’t what I do for work, it’s something I do for fun, but it started to feel like work and there was no time for me to switch off between this and my full time job. I think a break is what I needed and I’m currently in the process of jotting idea’s down about which direction I want to take my blog. I still want to focus on the beauty element, because ultimately that’s my passion and I enjoy it, but I want to start creating content that is useful, meaning for and inspiring.
I hope you understand why this break is important for me, and I promise I will be back soon, hopefully with a fresh outlook and posts you guys really enjoy. In the mean time, I’ll continue to support the bloggers I love, connect with you all and be a little more present on socials!
Thanks for everything so far, it means so much to me.
Kisses and Love
