Primark bath fizzers

August 11, 2018

Hey  loveliess, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Anyone that knows me, know I love a good rummage around Primark. Always on the look out to spend money on crap I don’t need. This particular visit was no exception. I found some Primark bath fizzers that looked kind of unicorn inspired. So I thought “Hey, they look pretty pointless, I’ll get two” and in my basket they went. I am a fan of hot baths with a good bath bomb, but where the weather has been so damn hot lately, it took a while for me to actually test these out. So, I bet your’re all wondering, are these actually good?

So these are the two I picked up. One looks like a unicorn horn, the other.. a unicorn poo? I’m not sure what exactly it’s meant to be but I got it anyway. These were only £1.50 each and I didn’t have high expectations to be honest. I popped them into a hot bath and they fizzed for around 5 minutes each (I done a demo on Instagram stories). There was no scent or fragrance to them which was a little disappointing. Once they’d dissolved, I was left with a dark purple bath. It was pretty enough I guess. I’m almost certain these had no benefits like essential oils or moisturiser.

To be honest, I really wasn’t impressed with these, but for a quid 50, what was I really expecting. I’d much rather spend a few quid more and get bath goodies from brands like bomb cosmetics or lush. If all you want is a coloured bath these are for you (but who wants that really?)  The idea of affordable bath products is great but they have to do a little more than just colour some water in my opinion.

Have you tried bath products from primark recently?

Primark Disney princess lashes

August 4, 2018

Hey loveliesss, I hope you’re all warm and well!
While browsing my local primark, I couldn’t help but spot these Primark Disney princess lashes and whack them straight in my basket! As a huge Disney fan, I couldn’t resist. Not sure about anyone else but I don’t feel any makeup look is properly complete without some lashes. Although the Disney branding is really cute, are they any good?

A Disney lovers gift guide.

December 2, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
As some of you may know, I’m obsessed with anything Disney! Growing up I had all the movies on VHS. I’d watch them until the tape wore out and then cry because I couldn’t watch them again and again. My favourite has got to be Beauty and the Beast. I love this movie so much because of it’s magical unconventional love story and the recent live action film was just as special as the original. I was inspired to do something a little different with my gift guide this year and decided to do a Disney gift guide.
So you can get the perfect gift for that crazy Disney fanatic in your life! (we all have one!)

Disney gift guide Mrs potts and chip

As mentioned above, I love beauty and the beast and with the highly anticipated film of the year (for me at least) was realised, so was a bunch of super cute items from the film. I adore my Chip mug from The Disney Store . I use it quite a lot when I fancy a brew, and what better way to serve it than from Mrs Potts herself. My teapot is from Primark and a very kind lady at work kindly bought me from oxford street.
CHIP MUG: £14.99 – Disney Store
MRS POTTS: £15 – Primark

Disney gift guide bambi bath salts

Bambi is a film that really pulls on my heart strings. To this day I still can’t watch without crying. So after you’ve wiped away the tears, treat yourself to a soak in the tub with these bath soak salts. The gentle scent of wild woodland flowers is soothing and calming. I think this makes a perfect little stocking filler, or just a little treat for yourself.
BAMBI BATH SOAK £3.99 – Mad beauty!

Disney gift guide colouring book

Colouring has been a relaxing past time of mine. I find it very therapeutic to just sit down and get creative in a colouring book. My lovely fiance got the this last Christmas and I haven’t had the time to sit and colour so I’m going to start in this book from January and hopefully complete it. There’s so many pretty Disney inspired graphics and designs you can transform into your own with a little time and patience. If you know an avid colourer than this might be the perfect gift for them!
DISNEY PRINCESS COLOURING BOOK £10.50 – Amazon
Disney gift guide beauty sets

Two incredibly cute pamper gift sets that have packaging so pretty, you won’t want to open it. I love the beauty and the beast themed “Beauty dome” it comes with 4 rose scented products including soap, body wash, hand cream and body lotion. This gift set really captures a big part of the movie and I love that it is full of goodies!
BELLES BEAUTY DOME £15.99 – Mad beauty

The Alice in wonderland duo pamper set is adorable, unfortunately the box on mine came a little damaged but I was very kindly sent a free replacement that was fine! The set consists of  bubble bath and body lotion, both sweetly smelling of ginger and pear, which isn’t a common scent for beauty products but I really liked how different it was! Taking a bubble bath after a long week at work is the perfect way to wind down and slathering on some body lotion keeps your skin smelling great and feeling soft!
ALICE PAMPER ME DUO £7.99 – Mad beauty!

So, there we have it angels, my Disney gift guide. Hope you loved it.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite Disney movie is, and why

Blog prop haul

July 19, 2017

Hey loveliess, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Following on from my previous post (My love hate relationship with Instagram.) I decided to do a little shopping and purchase some cute little props to include in my photos. Normally I just use synthetic flowers and occasionally some fairy lights. Now I thought it was about time I mixed things up a little bit and really step up my blog photography game. While the town I live in doesn’t offer much choice in pretty aesthetically pleasing flatlay props, I thought I’d work with what was around. Everything super affordable too, yay!flatlay props

Hello loveliess! I hope you’re all warm and well.
While browsing around my local Primark the other day when I spotted some acrylic looking make up storage. you know the ones that look super pretty on a shabby chic dresser. I picked it up and noticed it was only 2 pounds! Obviously I took it to the till with me. How could you not for 2 quid! I didn’t even know that there was such a thing as Primark makeup storage.
