Cute stocking filler ideas on a budget

December 8, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Isn’t Christmas a wonderful time of the year, so much festivities, laughter, dancing and endless attempts at trying to find the end of the sticky tape. For me, I love giving at this time of year, finding little cute gifts for the people that are special to me. Money is tight this Christmas because me and Shane are saving hard for our house and wedding. Unfortunately I can’t spend what I usually would. So, if like me you’re on a tight budget this year, I’ve got you covered. Cute Stocking filler ideas that won’t break the bank! Thank me later!

MINIATURES OF HER FAVOURITE PRODUCTS: Soap and glory are by far my favorite bath and body brand. I love the quirky packaging and incredible scents so why not pick up a few of her favourites in a cute miniature. Ideal for travelling or trying out new things without buying full size!

LASHES: December is party season, and I feel like no makeup look is complete without some fluttery lashes. It just pulls a look together. I don’t know about anyone else but I feel my confidence rocket when I’m rocking some cute falsies!

JEWELLERY: I’ve been a collector of Pandora charms for a good few years now. I love getting a new charm to add to my bracelets. I totally get that some charms are crazy expensive but there are some more affordable alternatives and often these are the ones that I like the best!

SKINCARE: Winter months leave skin feeling a bit dry, tired and in need of some serious TLC. So skincare is a great gift this time of year. There are loads of affordable treatments, masks and sets from high street brands these days and quality skincare doesn’t have to cost the earth. Besides, once all the festivities are over, she’s gonna wanna kick back and relax.

NOTEBOOKS/PLANNERS/JOURNALS: Each year I promised myself that I’m going to be more organised, document my year, plan things out and keep on top of everything, and while this never happens, a good notebook or journal makes me feel like I’m half way there.

NAILS: Not everyone has the time or money to go and get their nails done in a salon every two weeks, so press on nails or cute polishes allow for a little “me” time and are great for events, parties or just a well needed pamper evening with the girls

NOVELTY GIFTS: I always see cute little joke presents stocked up by the tills in almost every shop running up to Christmas, and while they aren’t the most practical it can certainly lead to a few giggles.

PRACTICAL GIFTS: A gift you know will be put to good use. Things like earphones, wallets, travel mugs and cute phone cases!

Hopefully that’s helped some of you out this year, and you can still get something cute for a decent price!

Thanks for being here!
Kisses and Love

Christmas party ready with KISS nails || BLOGMAS

December 5, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all well!
With the Christmas party season in full swing it can be hard work keeping on top of your beauty schedule, but fear no more because KISS have some stunning press on nail sets that are just gorgeous for the festive months and save a lot of time and money getting your nails done in the salon. Due to the nature of my job, I can’t really wear falsies at work so this is the perfect solution for when I want to glam up without the fuss. I absolutely love the designs of these IMpress nails (although I’m pretty sure out of the 10 sets I’ve seen there’s something for everyone) I think they’re super glam, fun and girly, exactly what I need and I’ll be using these loads during December!

IMpress nails

How to use.

Select the correct size nails for each finger by holding them to each natural nail, then use the prep pad provided to clean your natural nails.Gently peel the backing off each nail and align the IMpress nails. Firmly press each one into place. If your nails fall between sizes, always use the smaller size.

How long do they last?
Mine lasted around two or three days with the sticky adhesive. If you want something a little longer lasting, you could pop some nail glue on each one before applying and you’ll be good to go!

Are they expensive?
Not at all, I think each set is really reasonably priced at around £8. You can order online at superdrug, or pop into store to find your perfect manicure (that rhymes!) There could make a cute little stocking filler or secret Santa gift too!

Would I use again?
Absolutely, these are perfect for events, parties, night out and pamper evenings! I’ll be getting some different designs to try out too!

Thanks for being here lovelies
Kisses and Love

A Disney lovers gift guide.

December 2, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
As some of you may know, I’m obsessed with anything Disney! Growing up I had all the movies on VHS. I’d watch them until the tape wore out and then cry because I couldn’t watch them again and again. My favourite has got to be Beauty and the Beast. I love this movie so much because of it’s magical unconventional love story and the recent live action film was just as special as the original. I was inspired to do something a little different with my gift guide this year and decided to do a Disney gift guide.
So you can get the perfect gift for that crazy Disney fanatic in your life! (we all have one!)

Disney gift guide Mrs potts and chip

As mentioned above, I love beauty and the beast and with the highly anticipated film of the year (for me at least) was realised, so was a bunch of super cute items from the film. I adore my Chip mug from The Disney Store . I use it quite a lot when I fancy a brew, and what better way to serve it than from Mrs Potts herself. My teapot is from Primark and a very kind lady at work kindly bought me from oxford street.
CHIP MUG: £14.99 – Disney Store
MRS POTTS: £15 – Primark

Disney gift guide bambi bath salts

Bambi is a film that really pulls on my heart strings. To this day I still can’t watch without crying. So after you’ve wiped away the tears, treat yourself to a soak in the tub with these bath soak salts. The gentle scent of wild woodland flowers is soothing and calming. I think this makes a perfect little stocking filler, or just a little treat for yourself.
BAMBI BATH SOAK £3.99 – Mad beauty!

Disney gift guide colouring book

Colouring has been a relaxing past time of mine. I find it very therapeutic to just sit down and get creative in a colouring book. My lovely fiance got the this last Christmas and I haven’t had the time to sit and colour so I’m going to start in this book from January and hopefully complete it. There’s so many pretty Disney inspired graphics and designs you can transform into your own with a little time and patience. If you know an avid colourer than this might be the perfect gift for them!
DISNEY PRINCESS COLOURING BOOK £10.50 – Amazon
Disney gift guide beauty sets

Two incredibly cute pamper gift sets that have packaging so pretty, you won’t want to open it. I love the beauty and the beast themed “Beauty dome” it comes with 4 rose scented products including soap, body wash, hand cream and body lotion. This gift set really captures a big part of the movie and I love that it is full of goodies!
BELLES BEAUTY DOME £15.99 – Mad beauty

The Alice in wonderland duo pamper set is adorable, unfortunately the box on mine came a little damaged but I was very kindly sent a free replacement that was fine! The set consists of  bubble bath and body lotion, both sweetly smelling of ginger and pear, which isn’t a common scent for beauty products but I really liked how different it was! Taking a bubble bath after a long week at work is the perfect way to wind down and slathering on some body lotion keeps your skin smelling great and feeling soft!
ALICE PAMPER ME DUO £7.99 – Mad beauty!

So, there we have it angels, my Disney gift guide. Hope you loved it.
Let me know in the comments below what your favorite Disney movie is, and why
