Cute stocking filler ideas on a budget

December 8, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Isn’t Christmas a wonderful time of the year, so much festivities, laughter, dancing and endless attempts at trying to find the end of the sticky tape. For me, I love giving at this time of year, finding little cute gifts for the people that are special to me. Money is tight this Christmas because me and Shane are saving hard for our house and wedding. Unfortunately I can’t spend what I usually would. So, if like me you’re on a tight budget this year, I’ve got you covered. Cute Stocking filler ideas that won’t break the bank! Thank me later!

MINIATURES OF HER FAVOURITE PRODUCTS: Soap and glory are by far my favorite bath and body brand. I love the quirky packaging and incredible scents so why not pick up a few of her favourites in a cute miniature. Ideal for travelling or trying out new things without buying full size!

LASHES: December is party season, and I feel like no makeup look is complete without some fluttery lashes. It just pulls a look together. I don’t know about anyone else but I feel my confidence rocket when I’m rocking some cute falsies!

JEWELLERY: I’ve been a collector of Pandora charms for a good few years now. I love getting a new charm to add to my bracelets. I totally get that some charms are crazy expensive but there are some more affordable alternatives and often these are the ones that I like the best!

SKINCARE: Winter months leave skin feeling a bit dry, tired and in need of some serious TLC. So skincare is a great gift this time of year. There are loads of affordable treatments, masks and sets from high street brands these days and quality skincare doesn’t have to cost the earth. Besides, once all the festivities are over, she’s gonna wanna kick back and relax.

NOTEBOOKS/PLANNERS/JOURNALS: Each year I promised myself that I’m going to be more organised, document my year, plan things out and keep on top of everything, and while this never happens, a good notebook or journal makes me feel like I’m half way there.

NAILS: Not everyone has the time or money to go and get their nails done in a salon every two weeks, so press on nails or cute polishes allow for a little “me” time and are great for events, parties or just a well needed pamper evening with the girls

NOVELTY GIFTS: I always see cute little joke presents stocked up by the tills in almost every shop running up to Christmas, and while they aren’t the most practical it can certainly lead to a few giggles.

PRACTICAL GIFTS: A gift you know will be put to good use. Things like earphones, wallets, travel mugs and cute phone cases!

Hopefully that’s helped some of you out this year, and you can still get something cute for a decent price!

Thanks for being here!

Yardley fragrances.

December 4, 2017

Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
Yardley fragrances are completely new to me and I was so excited to get two fragrances to try out for you guys. I teamed up with Chemist.co.uk to let you all in on great scents for everyone without the price tag. I picked one for Him and one for Her. They’d make a cute little Christmas gift this year!
Yardley fragrances.

Yardley fragrances For her:

Let’s start with the feminine scent first. This one is “Royal pink Diamond” and it’s quite a mix of notes, not quite what I’d go for as I think there was a lot going on. Immediately I got hints of fruitiness which I quite liked but it was over ridden by floral scents. I’d say it’s quite a summery scent and a little spritz would be quite refreshing throughout the day. I did like the packaging, it’s quite girly and comes in a pretty pink bottle with rose style lid and a cute pink box. You can pick up this 50ml perfume for £9.99 at the moment, which I think is great price point!

Yardley fragrances For him:

Moving on to the Men’s fragrance “Ink” . I actually really like this scent for men, it has quite an earthy woody smell with zesty notes, which seemed to last quite a long time and I think a little would go along way, so you’re getting a bargain at £9.99 for 50mls. The packaging is quite simple, doesn’t really stand out to me, but worth picking up for a special man in your life.

You can find both of these fragrances on Chemist.co.uk, along with some other cute bits and pieces like body lotions and gift sets. Ideal for this time of year! Everything is under a tenner at the moment so it’s worth checking out!

Thanks for being here
