Hey lovelies, I hope you’re all warm and well!
With an ever growing lipstick collection, I had to make room for these little gems. These Pixi Mattelast liquid lipsticks are a new launch. Little old me was lucky enough to receive such a beautifully packaged PR parcel containing these 5 new liquid lipsticks. The shade range is right up my street so I was desperate to try them out. I haven’t tried a lot from Pixi admittedly. So I was intrigued to find out how these performed and if they’d be any good for me.
Overview:
As mentioned above, there are 5 shades in the range. All very wearable and very flattering for a range of skin tones. Each shade is infused with rosehip oil which means they’re incredibly comfortable to wear. Packaging wise, these are quite cute little squared tubes that are great for popping in your bag. I love that classic Pixi green on the lid. Each liquid lip comes with 6.8ml of product which is quite a lot in comparison to some other liquid lipsticks I own. You’re get a lot of bang for your buck with these!
Application:
The application was quite simple, one swipe was enough and my lips were evenly coated with product and I didn’t experience any streaking or patchiness, BONUS! I really loved the application wand. It’s kind of tear shaped and holds just enough product to give your lips a smooth even coverage. I used the tip to outline my lips then filled them in with the wider part and this worked really well for me!
The lipstick didn’t take long to dry down, but once it had it was really lightweight, comfortable and lasted a good few hours without top ups. I did have to re-apply after eating but that isn’t something that bothers me really. I feel like the shades were consistent in terms of application and lasting power, which is always a plus. Genuinely really enjoyed these liquid lipsticks. Trying them out has made me want to delve deeper into the Pixi brand and try other bits and pieces. If you have any suggestions please let me know!
So, overall these are a winner in my opinion. I know I’m going to get a lot of use from all 5 of these shades and I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to try something new! If you’re interested in getting some Pixi mattelast liquid lipsticks for yourself or a loved one, they’re available now on the Pixi beauty website for £16 each (a tad pricey but well worth it.)

I’ve not tried anything from Pixi before, but definitely want to give them a try in the new year (I’m a little bit strapped for disposable cash after Christmas ) lovely post as always! ❤️
These sound so amazing! Love the colour range as well. Formula is so important in a matte lipstick because they can get way too drying and uncomfortable, these sound perfect. I really wanna try some Pixi products as I’ve heard so many good things about the brand x
