MUA single shimmer eyeshadows.

March 4, 2017

Hello loveliesss, I hope you’re all warm and well
Today I wanted to share with you an absolute GEM I found in the drugstore recently. It’s no secret that the high street have really upped there game in terms of cosmetics recently and it’s now super easy to find really good quality products and prices that don’t break the bank. I’ve always found this brand to be a little hit and miss. Until I found these MUA single shimmer eye shadows.

I picked up 5 of these shimmery single eyeshadows a while back and just totally forgot I even got them. It wasn’t until I was rummaging in my collection for something different I stumbled across these beauties and popped them on my eye’s. I couldn’t believe the quality of these shadows, they were so blendable and super pigmented with just one swatch. How had these gone unnoticed for so long?

We’ve all seen the hype around the undressed palette and while it is an excellent palette, I truly believe these MUA single shimmer eye shadows top it! Considering how little I paid I’m so so impressed with the quality of these shadows.  They look so pretty on my eyes and make any look more glam and girly.

In the photo above you can see the range of shades I have and their one swipe swatches on my arm. The thing I love about these shadows is they don’t have much fall out when applying and they have lasting power. Now, for £1 each, that’s pretty impressive right?

Shades:

The shades from dark to light are as follows..
ONYX– A stunning blue toned shimmery black that’s perfect for a smokey eye.
BRONZE– A slightly purple toned gold shimmer.
COPPER – My favourite all over lid colour, that would look beautiful in autumn
CHAMOISEE– A cool toned beige colour that’s so pretty on it’s own blended through the crease.
PLATINUM- True shade silver glam colour

The packaging of these shadows isn’t my favourite but for £1 I really don’t mind. I like that the top is clear with only the logo and product type, so you can see the shade and all the names are on the back with the ingredients which is handy for those with allergies and such like..
They aren’t too bulky which I like and they’re quite light weight which makes them easy for travel.

I’ve seen that MUA sell matte single eye shadows and I haven’t picked any up yet but leave me a comment below if you’d like to see a post on the matte shades?

I love the Platinum shade and for only £1 that is a pretty amazing price. I’ve not used their products before but I’ve heard that their ranges are good 🙂

Love the look of these! I’ve got a few of the MUA palettes and they are so good. Pigmentation is insane from most of the shades. May pick up a few of these £1 ones now too x
