Worth the hype? Glamglow youthmud review.

July 4, 2017

Hey lovelies, welcome back! I hope you’re all warm and well
We’ve all seen the hype behind the Glamglow mud masks, all our favourite beauty guru’s have given it a go. I was sat here thinking, is it really that good? I’ve wanted to try the mask out for myself and the beauts at Glamglow UK contacted me on Instagram, asking if I’d like a sample size to test out. Obviously, I jumped at the chance and here I am now sharing my thoughts with you. Before we get started I think it’s important to mention that Glamglow are a cruelty free, vegan friendly brand and their masks are all paraben free, yaay! So let’s get into this Glamglow youthmud review.

Glamglow youthmud review.
TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT

Review:

Designed to be a facial in a jar, the high price tagged mud mask provides a tingle exfoliation to resurface skin, leaving it feeling smooth, bright, soft and glowing.
Application was pretty simple, I applied a thin layer across my skin in circular motions, avoiding eye area and left for 10-15 minutes to dry. After a few minutes I felt quite an intense tingle on my face. I saw the mask had sunk down into my pores. As the mask dried my skin felt tight and cooled. Once washed off, my skin did feel refreshed, firm and brighter. After my second treatment I saw a slight improvement in my skins appearance and again my skin felt tighter and brighter.

Verdict.

It’s clear to see why most major stars have added Glamglow masks to their beauty routines, but at almost £40 a tub (100g.)  I can’t personally justify that much money on a mask, but if you’ve got the cash to splurge then go for it, it works well. Would I say it’s worth the hype? Absolutely, just the price point is a little out of my budget.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my Glamglow youthmud review.

I’ve tried a few of the Glam Glow masks, and they’re nice. However, they are ridiculously priced. I think you could get just as much from a more affordable brand. I do get excited when I see their products on offer for around $30 less than normal cost. I think that’s more justifiable, but it’s only offered once in a while.

Glad to hear you liked the mask. I really want to try the GlamGlow masks but like you, I just can’t justify spending that much money on a face mask! x

Ooh this looks exciting! Good to know that something actually works for a change, but the price is, like you say, definitely a bit high!!

I’ve always wanted to try this mask! You’re defiantly right about the price point, I would feel bad using it for that price! Loved reading this xx

Really adored this type of post! I would defiantly like to see more of these sassy and short reviews! They are straight to the point and informative while still being hella cute!!

Your post has made me think I would only purchase this, but only once, as you said it’s very expensive!

Does seem very pricey for 100g but if the stars are using it I can see why. A shame for us beauty lovers hehe!

I agree the price is very pricey but if I had some extra cash I would splash out on this as it sounds really good 🙂
    Thanks for the review

Thank you for this review! I’ve seen so much about glam glow but cannot justify the price either. I’ve tried a sample of one of their other products, but it was just a regular charcoal mask. I’m glad this product does what it claims and actually works. I don’t know if I’ll purchase it, but I’m going to try and get my hands on a sample because I could use brighter skin. Great review!

Great review! I personally have tried the youthmud and the supermud, and like you said they both have quite a high price. I think they do a nice job at being a facial all in one, but it’s hard to justify when there are so many facial mask products out there. Thanks for sharing!
