Hey loveliesss, welcome back ♥!
I hope you’re all doing well!
I decided to do a monthly round up of things I’ve been loving recently and a few things that haven’t worked so great for me. I haven’t done a favourites for a while so I thought, why the hell not ay?
Let’s jump straight in.
Jeffree Star Androgyny pallet – £40 from beauty bay.
Listen, I know some of you find Jeffree Star cosmetics controversial and I completely understand why, but whatever your opinions on the dude, there’s no denying his products are bomb.com and this palette has become my holy grail. I use it all the time and the top row of shades gives me life! I wrote a full review on the palette so if you wanna find out more, I’ll link that post here.
Collection Glam crystals glitter gel liner “Funk” – £2.99 from superdrug.
Super pretty glitter liner for the eyes, glam’s up any look and works as a great base for loose glitter. I used this on a night out recently and I had no problems with drying out and wearing away. I’ll be picking up more colours soon !
Maybelline master precise liner (Black) – £5.99 from superdrug
One of the best liquid liners I’ve used in a long time, I can create a sharp wing with the soft felt tip and the product doesn’t dry out half way through application. The liner doesn’t fade, crumble and crack throughout the day and lasts all night !
Nicki Minaj Trini Girl perfume – £40 for 100mls (Currently £20 in superdrug)
A pretty scent that combines light floral notes with exotic fruits! I find this fragrance really girly and perfect for this warmer weather. I’ve been wearing this perfume daily and I’m obsessed with the scent. I just wish there was a candle that smelt like this.
MAC Cosmetics brow pencil in shade Lingering – £14.50
This was my go-to brow product for so long and then I started experimenting with different pencils, powders and pomades. I found this is the bottom of my bag a few weeks ago and I’ve fallen back in love with it. The really fine tip is great for precisely outlining my brows and sketching in natural looking brow hairs.
Soap and glory “Sugar crush” body wash – £6.50 for 500mls
I’m such a huge sucker for soap and glory products and this is definitely one of my favourites. I cover my shower puff in this and use it all over in the shower, it’s a really zesty scent that is energising and refreshing. Exactly what I need in the morning to get me started for the day.
MUA Luxe radiant illuminating highlight kit – £6.00.
I actually won this product in a giveaway so I’m not too bummed it didn’t work for me. I found the powders to be quite chalky and they just highlighted all my pores. I really wanted to like this because I’ve seen some good swatches and reviews but unfortunately it just wasn’t for me.
Soap and glory thick and fast mascara £10 from boots.
This mascara did nothing for my lashes which I was gutted about because I love soap and glory and I had high hopes for this. The formula of the mascara was thin and the wand did nothing but clump my lashes together at the root. There are much better mascara’s out there for a tenner!
So, that my my April hits and misses, I hope you enjoyed reading.
Let me know what you’ve been loving recently!
Thanks for being here
Kisses and Love
